If you follow me on Instagram (@colormerad), you'll know we spend the day in Joshua Tree for Mother's Day. We did the same thing last year, and I loved it so much, I asked to do it again. Well, this year didn't go as planned. Our little two year old was a meltdown mess and by the end of the day, the poor kiddo sat on a cactus. It was terrible. But the handful of images I got sure made it look like a lot of fun. :) Aaaah, the power of selective documentation.
I also brought along a little Nikon AF600 for Rowan to use. And although I ended up taking more usable images with it than he did, there are a few shots from that camera too. I forgot what an awesome little camera that is.
Contax T2 with Fuji Superia 400, Nikon AF600 with Kodak Portra 400. Processed and scanned at home.
^^ I let Rowan use my Nikon AF600 and he loved using a film camera for the first time. :)
